On Thursday March 27, the Mesquite Chamber of Commerce will host its State of the Workforce. This meeting will be held at Dallas College Eastfield Campus from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. 

You will walk away with insight into the workforce numbers, workforce skill gaps, workforce programming, and more.

We will have speakers from Workforce Solutions and the Career & Technical Education department from Mesquite Independent School District.

Speaker Bio 

Steven Bridges is the Industry Communications Manager for Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas. He has worked in workforce development for 28 years and specializes in Employer and Educational services for the Greater Dallas Workforce Board. Mr. Bridges has a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communications from Saint Edwards University in Austin, TX. Steven has served on numerous educational advisory boards at the secondary and post-secondary level. He has spearheaded two FAME Chapters in the Dallas area and currently serves on the national FAME Technical Advisory Council. Currently, Steven is heading up the Workforce Arm of the Industry Sector Partnership initiative in the Greater Dallas area. His passion is developing relationships and partnerships that create strong career paths for students and true talent pipelines for industry.
